Birchcliff Copper Scrap

Birchcliff is the combined Birch/Cliff designation: No. 2 copper wire (Birch) traded together with No. 2 copper solids and tubing (Cliff), both at a nominal 96% copper content and 94% minimum by electrolytic assay. It is the standard grade for semi-processed recycling operations, where granulation and separation lines recover the copper and reject light foreign material. Tubing must come without non-copper connections or internal sediment, and the lot must be free of burnt wire, insulation and excessive oil. We consolidate from multiple verified sources and sort to specification before shipment.
